Stewart & Stevenson, LLC v. Foret, 2013 WL 4337319 (Tex. App- Houston [1st Dist.] 2013, no pet.) (appeal dismissed by agreement after confidential settlement), (Affirmed $10.7 million verdict in worksite injury case).

American Home Assurance Company v. Stephens, 130 F.3d 123 (5th Cir. 1997), (insurance contract provisions struck down as against public policy, withdrawn only after certified question to the Texas Supreme Court).

 

 

Prevailed at the Texas Supreme Court for Plaintiffs in a medical liability case, collecting over $2 million for our clients after briefing and oral argument:

 

West Oaks Hospital, Inc. v. Jones, 2001 WL 83528 (Tex.App. – Houston [1st Dist.], 2001, rev. granted (Oct. 11, 2001); order withdrawn July 3, 2002), review denied July 3, 2002) (Court granted review and case proceeded to oral argument before Texas Supreme Court January 16, 2002. Nearly 6 months later, on July 3, 2002, the Texas Supreme Court withdrew its Order Granting Review}.
